Harbour) Regulation 1999

His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Marine Pollution Act 1987.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to remove the port of Coffs Harbour from the list of ports that are prescribed as ‘‘State waters’’ for the purposes of the Marine Pollution Act 1987. The Regulation also corrects a typographical error.
This Regulation is made under the Marine Pollution Act 1987, including paragraph (c) of the definition of ‘‘State waters’’ in section 3(1) and section 61 (the general regulation-making power).

1 Name of Regulation
This Regulation is the Marine Pollution Amendment (Coffs
Harbour) Regulation 1999.2 Amendment of Marine Pollution Regulation 1995
The Marine Pollution Regulation 1995 is amended as set out in
Schedule 1.
