Note   The IMO Code of Safety for Diving Systems, 1995 (adopted by IMO Resolution A.831(19)) may apply to a support vessel that is built to support saturation diving. The Manager, Ship Inspection and Registration or a survey authority may issue a diving safety certificate to a diving support vessel in accordance with the IMO Code if the diving system complies with the Code.
