I, QUENTIN BRYCE, Governor‑General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Marine Navigation Levy Collection Act 1989.

1. Name of Regulations

These Regulations are the Marine Navigation Levy Collection Amendment Regulations 2009 (No. 1).

1. Commencement

These Regulations commence on the day after they are registered.

1. Amendment of Marine Navigation Levy Collection Regulations 1990

Schedule 1 amends the Marine Navigation Levy Collection Regulations 1990.

For paragraph 8 (4) (c) of the Act, payment of levy may be made by electronic funds transfer to the Collector.
