I, the Lieutenant-Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under Marine and Safety Authority Act 1997 .23 July 1998

1Short titleThese regulations may be cited as the Marine and Safety (Pilotage and Navigation) Amendment Regulations 1998 . 2CommencementThese regulations take effect on the day on which their making is notified in the Gazette. 3Principal RegulationsIn these regulations, the Marine and Safety (Pilotage and Navigation) Regulations 1997 are referred to as the Principal Regulations. 4Regulation 88 amended (Expiry) Regulation 88 of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting "31 July 1998" and substituting "31 December 1998".

Notified in the Gazette on 29 July 1998
