Marine and Harbours (Departmental Areas)

Amendment Regulations 2014

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.             Citation

These regulations are the Marine and Harbours (Departmental
Areas) Amendment Regulations 2014.

2.             Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a)	regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette;
(b)	the rest of the regulations — on the day fixed under the Road Traffic (Administration) Act 2008 section 2(b).

3.             Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Marine and Harbours
(Departmental Areas) Regulations 1998.

4.             Regulation 2 amended

(1)	In regulation 2(1) delete the definitions of:
carriageway park vehicle

(2) In regulation 2(1) insert in alphabetical order:

carriageway has the meaning given in the Road Traffic

Code 2000 regulation 3(1);

park has the meaning given in the Road Traffic

Code 2000 regulation 3(1);

vehicle has the meaning given in the Road Traffic
(Administration) Act 2008 section 4 but does not
include a motorised wheelchair as defined in the Road

Traffic Code 2000 regulation 3(1).

(3)	Delete regulation 2(2) and insert:
(2) These regulations are subject to any written law and any law of the Commonwealth about assistance animals as defined in the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (Commonwealth) section 9(2).

5.             Regulation 7 amended

Delete regulation 7(2).

Note:

The note after regulation 7 is to be deleted.

6.             Schedule 2 amended

In Schedule 2 Form 1:

(a) delete “a complaint of ” ;

(b) delete “complaint for” and insert:

summons for
