MANLY HOSPITAL ACT.
Act No. 55, 1924.
An Act to sanct ion the construct ion of a public
hospital a t M a n l y ; and for purposes connected
therewi th . [Assented to, 23rd December, 1924.]
| BE | it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legis |
lative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :—
1 . This Act may be cited as the "Man ly Hospital Act, 1921."
2 . The carrying out of the works described in the Schedule to this Act is hereby sanctioned, and the Secretary for Public Works is empowered to carry out the said works.
3 . The cost of carrying out the said works, exclusive of land resumptions, is estimated at ninety-eight thousand four hundred and thirty pounds, and such estimated cost shall not, under any circumstances, be exceeded by more than ten per centum.
| 4 . The plan of the works is the plan marked " Manly Peace Memorial Hospital," signed by the Secretary for Public Works and countersigned by the Acting Government Architect, and deposited in the public office of the said Secretary. | S C H E D U L E . |

works : —
1. Admin i s t r a t ive Block (_ storeys). 2. "Ward Pavilion No. I (2 storeys). ^5 beds, and Operat ing
Block (] storey).
3. Ki tchen Block (Bart 2 -torov).
i. Children's W a r d (1 storey), 12 hods.
5. Pathological Depar tmen t (2 storeys).(>. Temporary Isolation Block (1 storey), S beds.
7. L a u n d r y Block (1 storey), y. Male Stall Quar te rs ( I storey).
'J. Boiler House (1 storcv).
BJ. Nurses ' (Quarters (•'! stoi. 'ys).
11. Morgue.
The buildings throughout , with the exception of the Temporary Isolation f l o c k (which is to be of wood construct ion), are to he of brick wi th cavity wal ls—the roofs to be covered with tiles. The instal lat ion of electric light, hot ami cold water services, heating, and sewerage is. included.
