s1 2 s4 Major Sports Facilities Amendment Regulation (No. 1) No. 104, 2003 2003 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Major Sports Facilities Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2003 . 2 Regulation amended This regulation amends the Major Sports Facilities Regulation 2002 . 3 Amendment of s 2 (Declaration of major sports facility—Act, s 4) (1) Section 2— insert— ‘(e) the facility called ‘Suncorp Stadium’ (formerly called ‘Suncorp Metway Stadium’), as described in the schedule.’. (2) Section (2)— insert— ‘ (2) The declaration under subsection (1)(e) takes effect at 5.00 p.m. on 30 May 2003.’. 4 Insertion of new s 3 and schedule After section 2— insert— ‘3 Prescribed day for expiry of Act, pt 5 ‘The prescribed day for section 53(b) of the Act is 30 May 2003.
