Major Infrastructure Development Approvals (North West Transmission Upgrades Project) Amendment Order 2022

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council and in accordance with the recommendation of the Minister, make the following order under section 19(3) of the Major Infrastructure Development Approvals Act 1999 .28 February 2022

1Short titleThis order may be cited as the Major Infrastructure Development Approvals (North West Transmission Upgrades Project) Amendment Order 2022. 2CommencementThis order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette. 3InterpretationIn this order – Act means the Major Infrastructure Development Approvals Act 1999. 4Principal OrderIn this order, the Major Infrastructure Development Approvals (North West Transmission Upgrades Project) Order 2020 is referred to as the Principal Order. 5The amendment effected by this clause has been incorporated into the authorised version of the Major Infrastructure Development Approvals (North West Transmission Upgrades Project) Order 2020. 6Determination regarding alteration of orderThe Minister has determined that this order will not alter the Major Infrastructure Development Approvals (North West Transmission Upgrades Project) Order 2020 made by the Governor under section 7(2) of the Act to such an extent or to such effect that this order should be submitted to Parliament for its approval.
