MAIN ROADS AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT
(AMENDMENT) ACT.
Act No. 3, 1959.
An Act to amend the provisions of the Main Roads Act, 1924, and the Local Government Act, 1919, as amended by subsequent Acts, relating to proceedings for certain offences under those Acts, as so amended; and for purposes connected therewith. [Assented to, 24th September, 1959.]

(1) This Act may be cited as the "Main Roads and Local Government (Amendment) Act, 1959".

(2) The Main Roads Act, 1924, as amended by subsequent Acts and by this Act, may be cited as the Main Roads Act, 1924-1959.
The Main Roads Act, 1924, as amended by subsequent Acts, is amended by inserting in paragraph (b) of subsection four of section fifty-one after the words "the Superintendent of Weights and Measures" the words ", or an Inspector of Weights and Measures,".
