An Act to amend section 36 of the Main Roads Act, 1924, consequent upon the enactment of the Local Government (Amendment) Act, 1984. [Assented to, 4th December, 1984.]

Main Roads (Amendment) 19X4

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority oi the same, .is follows: —

Short title.

1. This Act may be cited as the "Main Roads (Amendment) Act, 19X4".

Commencement.

(1) Sections I and 2 shall commence on the date of assent to this Act (2) Except as provided by subsection ( I ). this Act shall commence on the day appointed and notified under section 2 (2) of the Local Government (Amendment) Act, 19X4. for the commencement of Schedule I ( 2 ) to that Act.

Amendment of Act No. 24. 1924.

1. The Main Roads Act. 1924. is amended by omitting section 36 ( I A I.
