AN ACT to amend the Main Roads Act, 1930-1955.

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most ExcellentMajesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

(2) In this Act the Main Roads Act, 1930-1955 of th

is referred to as the principal Act. Agsr, 11943.

(3) The principal Act as amended by this Act

may be cited as the Main Roads Act, 1930-1959.

amended. 2. Subsection (3) of section thirty-four of the

principal Act is amended

(a) by adding after the subsection designation, "(3)" the paragraph designation, "(a)";

and

(b) by adding a paragraph as follows

(b) In this section the expression, "improvement" includes the construction, erection and maintenance of lights for the lighting of the roads and bridges.
