AN ACT to amend Section two of the Main Roads

Act Amendment Act, 1932.

1.    This Act may be cited as the Main Roads Act Short title.

Amendment Act, 1932, Amendment Act, 1937, and shall be read as one with the Main Roads Act Amendment Act, 1932 (No. 2 of 1932), hereinafter referred to as the prin- cipal Act.

Section two of the principal Act is amended by

deleting subsection (1) and inserting in lieu thereof a

subsection as follows :-

(1) This Act shall have effect as from and com- mencing on the first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, and shall be deemed to have continued in operation until the commencement of this subsection, and shall continue in operation after the commencement of this subsection, pending the execution by the Honourable the: Premier of the State and during the currency of the Federal Aid Roads Agreement made or about to be made between the Commonwealth of Australia and the State of Western Australia as authorised by the provisions of the Federal Aid Roads (New Agreement Author- isation) Act, 1936 (No. 33 of 1936), or any Act amending the same now in operation or hereafter to come into operation, and also during the currency of any Federal Aid Roads Agreement which may hereafter be authorised and made between the Com-

monwealth of Australia and the State of Western Australia, whether for the purpose of modifying, varying, extending, or supplementing the Federal Aid Roads Agreement first hereinbefore mentioned or in substitution of the same, and no longer.
