s1 2 s6 Magistrates Courts Amendment (No. 2) No. 150, 1998 ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Magistrates Courts Amendment Rule (No. 2) 1998 . ˙ Commencement 2. This rule commences on 1 July 1998. ˙ Regulation amended 3. This regulation amends the Magistrates Courts Rules 1960 . ˙ Amendment of s 11 4.(1) Section 11, as heading— insert— ‘ Where action may be brought and heard ’. (2) Section 11(5)(a), from ‘district assigned’ to ‘ Justices Act 1886 )—’— omit, insert— ‘Brisbane Magistrates Courts District’. ˙ Amendment of s 299 (Duties of registrar) 5. Section 299(3)(e), (g) and (h), ‘Logan,’— omit. ˙ Amendment of s 305 (Duties of bailiff) 6. Section 305(2)(f) and (g), ‘Logan,’— omit.
