Magistrates Court Rules2 (Amendment)
I, MICHAEL CARTER TATE, the Minister of State for Justice, acting for and on behalf of the Attorney-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, hereby make the following Rules under the Magistrates Court Ordinance 1930.

Commencement
1. These Rules commence on the date on which the Magistrates Court (Amendment) Ordinance 1988 commences.
Court Fees
2. Rule 68 of the Magistrates Court Rules is amended—
(a)by omitting subrule (2) and substituting the following subrule:
“(2) For the purpose of subsection 255C (3) of the Ordinance, the amount shall be calculated at the following rate:
(a)for each page of the first transcript or copy of the record delivered—$2.00; and
(b)for each page of any further transcript or copy provided to the same applicant—$0.10.”; and
(b)by omitting subrules (3), (4) and (5).
