Magistrates Court Rules2 (Amendment)

I, LIONEL FROST BOWEN, the Attorney-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, hereby make the following Rules under the Magistrates Court Ordinance 1930.

Commencement

1.  These Rules commence on 1 July 1989.

Principal Rules

2. In these Rules, “Principal Rules” means the Magistrates Court Rules.

Court fees

3.  Rule 68 of the Principal Rules is amended by omitting from paragraph (2) (a) “$2.00” and substituting “$7.50”.

Second Schedule

4.  The Second Schedule to the Principal Rules is amended by inserting the following item before Item 2:

“1. For the issue of a summons under subsection 37 (1) of the Ordinance... 20.00”.
