Magistrates Court Rules2 (Amendment)
The Australian Capital Territory Executive hereby makes the following Regulations under the Magistrates Court Act 1930.

Commencement
1. These Rules commence on 1 July 1991.
Principal Rules
2. In these Rules, “Principal Rules” means the Magistrates Court Rules.
Court fees
3. Rule 68 of the Principal Rules is amended—
(a)by inserting before subrule (1) the following subrule:
“(1A) For the purposes of subsection 144 (1) of the Act the prescribed fee is $19.00.”;
(b)by omitting from paragraph (2) (a) “$7.50” and substituting “$8.00”; and
(c)by omitting from paragraph (2) (b) “$0.10” and substituting “$0.15”.
Second Schedule
4. The Second Schedule to the Principal Rules is amended—
(a)by omitting from column 3 of item 1 “20.00” and substituting “25.00”; and
(b)by omitting from column 3 of item 2 “0.55” and “0.20” and substituting “0.60” and “0.25” respectively.
