Regulations 1999

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1. Objectives

The objectives of these Regulations are to—

(a)

prescribe 120 Spencer Street Melbourne as the venue of the Magistrates' Court to be the PERIN Court; and

(b) amend the prescribed form of a document.

2. Authorising provisions

These Regulations are made under section 140(1) of the Magistrates' Court Act 1989.

3. Commencement

(1) These Regulations (apart from regulation 6) come

into operation on 1 March 1999.

(2) Regulation 6 comes into operation on 15 March

1999.

4. Principal Regulations

In these Regulations the Magistrates' Court
General Regulations 19901 are called the Principal

Regulations.

5. Substituted PERIN court

In regulation 402 of the Principal Regulations for
"601 Bourke Street Melbourne" substitute "120

Spencer Street Melbourne".

6. Amendment of PERIN form

In regulation 1107(1) of the Principal Regulations,
for paragraph (a), substitute—
"(a) is—

(i)  in magnetic tape or magnetic cartridge (type 3480) in an IBM format; or

(ii)  a compact disc with a 640 megabyte capacity; or

(iii)

a three and a half inch microdisc double a 1.44 megabyte capacity; and".
