These rules are the
These rules come into operation as follows —
(a) rules 1 and 2 — on the day on which these rules are published on the WA legislation website (
publication day );(b) the rest of the rules —
(i) if the
Road Traffic Legislation Amendment (Infringement Management Reform) Act 2024 section 38 comes into operation on or before publication day — on the day after publication day; or(ii) otherwise — on the day on which the
Road Traffic Legislation Amendment (Infringement Management Reform) Act 2024 section 38 comes into operation.
3. Rules amended
These rules amend the
(1) In Schedule 2 Form 3:
(a) delete “section 14 of the Act” and insert:
section 14 or 14A of the Act (as applicable)
(b) after “section 17 of the Act” insert:
or
balance payment order issued under section 17A of the Act (as applicable)(2) In Schedule 2 Form 4AA:
(a) delete “section 14 of the Act” and insert:
section 14 or 14A of the Act (as applicable)
(b) after “section 17 of the Act” insert:
or
balance payment order issued under section 17A of the Act (as applicable)
