Magistrates' Court General Amendment Regulations 2025

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Magistrates' Court General Regulations 2024 to prescribe Wyndham Law Courts as a venue of the Magistrates' Court of Victoria for the purposes of section 82(3)(b) of the Magistrates' Court Act 1989.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 140 of the Magistrates' Court Act 1989.

3Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 10 November 2025.

4Schedule 3 amended

In Schedule 3 to the Magistrates' Court General Regulations 2024[1], after "55. Wonthaggi" insert—

"56.Wyndham Law Courts (Werribee)".
