(Further Amendment) Regulations 2000

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1. Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to increase fees payable in respect of the commencement of proceedings.

2. Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 140 of the Magistrates' Court Act 1989.

3. Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 1 July
2000.

S.R. No. 43/2000 r. 4

4. Increase in commencement fees

In the table in regulation 8 of the Magistrates'
Court (Fees, Costs and Charges) Regulations
19901, in items 2(c) and 4(c), for "$221.00"

substitute "$223.50".
