Magistrates' Court Civil Procedure (Amendment No. 20) Rules 2007
The Chief Magistrate together with 2 Deputy Chief Magistrates jointly make the following Rules:
1Object
The object of these Rules is to prescribe a venue of the Court for the purposes of the definition of civil registry court in section 3(1) of the Act.
2Authorising provisions
These Rules are made under section 16 of the Magistrates' Court Act 1989 and all other enabling powers.
3Commencement
These Rules come into operation on 29 October 2007.
4Prescribed venues of the Court—section 3(1) of the Act
In Appendix B to the Magistrates' Court Civil Procedure Rules 1999[1], after "Moe" insert "Moorabbin Justice Centre situated at 1140 Nepean Highway, Highett".
