Magistrates' Court Civil Procedure (Amendment

No. 2) Rules 1999

The Chief Magistrate together with 2 Deputy Chief

Magistrates jointly make the following Rules:

1. Object

The object of these Rules is to amend the provisions in the Principal Rules concerning calculating time during the long vacation.

2. Authorising provisions

These Rules are made under section 16 of the enabling powers.

3. Process in vacation

In Rule 3.04.1(1) of the Magistrates' Court Civil Procedure Rules 19991 after "the period" insert "from 23 December 1999 to 9 January 2000 and thereafter the period".
