The Australian Capital Territory Executive makes the following Regulations under the Magistrates Court (Civil Jurisdiction) Act 1982.

Commencement
1. These Regulations commence on the day on which they are notified in the Gazette.
Principal Regulations
2. In these Regulations, “Principal Regulations” means the Magistrates Court (Civil Jurisdiction) (Solicitors’ Costs) Regulations.
Costs of ordinary claims—application of Supreme Court Rules
3. Regulation 7 of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting from paragraph (1) (a) “the amount referred to in Order 4, paragraph 6 (3) (a)” and substituting “the prescribed costs are the amount referred to in Order 3, paragraph 2 (a)”.
Costs of special claims—application of Supreme Court Rules
4. Regulation 8 of the Principal Regulations is amended—
(a)by omitting from paragraph (a) “Order 4, paragraph 6 (3) (a)” and substituting “Order 3, paragraph 2 (a)”; and
(b)by omitting from paragraph (b) “Order 4, subrule 6 (4)” and substituting “Order 3, subrule 3 (2)”.
