The Australian Capital Territory Executive makes the following Regulations under the Magistrates Court (Civil Jurisdiction) Act 1982.

Commencement
1. These Regulations commence on 1 August 1995.
Principal Regulations
2. In these Regulations, “Principal Regulations” means the Magistrates Court (Civil Jurisdiction) Regulations.
Prescribed interest rates
3. Regulation 3 of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting “subsection 227B (2)” and substituting “subsection 231 (2)”.
Amount garnishee may retain
4. Regulation 4 of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting “subsection 278AY (1)” and substituting “subsection 339 (1)”.
Value of tools of trade etc.
5. Regulation 5 of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting “paragraph 287BG (1) (b)” and substituting “paragraph 347 (1) (b)”.
Schedule
6. The Schedule to the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting item 12 of Table 2 and substituting the following items:
1 February 1994 to and including 31 July 1995............................. 9.00
Any period after 1 August 1995 .................................................. 10.75
