Magistrates Court (Civil Jurisdiction) (Fees) Regulations² (Amendment)

I, LIONEL FROST BOWEN, the Attorney-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, hereby make the following Regulations under the Magistrates Court (Civil Jurisdiction) Ordinance 1982.

Court fees

1. Regulation 3 of the Magistrates Court (Civil Jurisdiction) (Fees) Regulations is amended by omitting subregulation (2).

Schedule

2.  The Schedule to the Magistrates Court (Civil Jurisdiction) (Fees) Regulations is amended:

(a)by omitting from item 1 “20.00” and substituting “30.00”;

(b)by omitting from item 3 “3.00” and substituting “5.00”; and

(c)by omitting from item 4 “15.00” and substituting “20.00”.

Application

3.  The amendments referred to in paragraphs 2 (b) and (c) apply only in relation to the service of process requested on or after the date of commencement of these Regulations.
