Magistrates Court (Civil Jurisdiction) (Fees) Regulations2 (Amendment)

The Australian Capital Territory Executive hereby makes the following Regulations under the Magistrates Court (Civil Jurisdiction) Act 1982.

Commencement

1.  These Regulations commence on 1 July 1991.

Schedule

2.  The Schedule to the Magistrates Court (Civil Jurisdiction) (Fees) Regulations is amended—

(a)by omitting item 1 and substituting the following item:

“1     On filing of originating process—

(a).. under section 20 of the Act, or where the amount in dispute does not exceed $10,000...................................................................	55.00
(b). where the amount in dispute exceeds $10,000......................................................	220.00”;

(b)by omitting from column 3 of item 2 “0.55” and “0.20” and substituting “0.60” and “0.25” respectively;

(c)by omitting from column 3 of item 3 “5.00” and substituting “5.50”;

(d)by omitting from column 3 of items 4 and 5 “20.00” and substituting “25.00”;

(e)by omitting from column 3 of item 6 “5.00” and substituting “5.50”; and

(f)by omitting from column 3 of item 7 “2,500.00” and substituting “2,700.00”.
