Clause 1 Maclean Local Environmental Plan 2001 (Amendment No 12)

Maclean Local Environmental Plan 2001 (Amendment

No 12)

under the

Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979

1      Name of plan

This plan is Maclean Local Environmental Plan 2001 (Amendment

No 12).

2      Aims of plan

The aims of this plan are as follows:

(a)	to update the definition of Council for the purposes of Maclean Local Environmental Plan 2001 so that it now refers to the Clarence Valley Council (as a result of the recent amalgamation of Maclean and certain other local government areas to form the new local government area of Clarence Valley),
(b)	to rezone Part Lot 3, DP 840115, Woodford Island and Lot 243, DP 872815, Johnsons Lane, Illuka (being 2 future sewage treatment plant sites) from, respectively, Zone No 1 (b) Rural (General Rural Land) Zone and Zone No 7 (c) Environmental Protection (Coastal Foreshore) Zone to Zone No 5 (a) Special Uses (Sewerage Works).

3      Land to which plan applies

(1)	To the extent that this plan relates to the aim referred to in clause 2 (a), it applies to the whole of the land to which Maclean Local Environmental Plan 2001 applies.
(2)	To the extent that this plan relates to the aim referred to in clause 2 (b), it applies to Part Lot 3, DP 840115, Woodford Island and Lot 243, DP 872815, Johnsons Lane, Illuka, as shown edged heavy black on the map marked “Maclean Local Environmental Plan 2001 (Amendment No 12)” deposited in the office of the Clarence Valley Council.
