Luxury Hire Car Industry Amendment Regulations 2000

I, the Lieutenant-Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Taxi and Luxury Hire Car Industries Act 1995 .7 August 2000

1Short titleThese regulations may be cited as the Luxury Hire Car Industry Amendment Regulations 2000 . 2CommencementThese regulations take effect on the day on which the Vehicle and Traffic Act 1999 commences. 3Principal RegulationsIn these regulations, the Luxury Hire Car Industry Regulations 2000 are referred to as the Principal Regulations. 4Regulation 6 amended (Distinguishing plates and labels) Regulation 6(7) of the Principal Regulations is amended as follows: (a) by omitting from paragraph (a) "registered owner" and substituting "registered operator"; (b) by omitting from paragraph (b) "registered owner" and substituting "registered operator"; (c) by omitting from paragraph (c) "registered owner" and substituting "registered operator".
