LOTTERIES COMMISSION ACT 1990
LOITO AMENDMENT RULES 1995
Made by the Lotteries Commission under section 28.
Citation
1. These rules may be cited as the Lotto Amendment Rules 1995.
Principal rules
2. In these rules the Lotto Rules 1990* are referred to as the principal

Rule 6 amended
3. Rule 6 of the principal rules is amended by deleting paragraphs (a), (b)
and (c) and substituting the following paragraph —
(a)
a midweek lotto entry or a weekend lotto entry, a separate receipted ticket shall be generated for the super 66 games entered;
Rule 7 amended
4. Rule 7 (4) of the principal rules is amended by inserting after "receipted
ticket" the following —
a or tickets Rule 8 amended
5. Rule 8 of the principal rules is amended —
substituting the subrule designation "(6)". (a) in subrule (1) by inserting after “receipted ticket" the
following —
“ or tickets
(b) in subrule (3) by inserting after “receipted ticket" the
following —
• or tickets
Rule 11 amended
6. Rule 11 of the principal rules is amended by deleting "draws and," and
substituting the following —
a.
draws or,
Rule 15 amended
7. Rule 15 of the principal rules is amended in subrule (5) that concludes
"for the purposes of rule 15 (3)." by deleting the subrule designation "(5)" and

Rule 21 amended
8. Rule 21 (2) of the principal rules is amended by deleting "either".
Rule 24 repealed and a rule substituted
9. Rule 24 of the principal rules is repealed and the following rule
substituted —
a
Distribution of super 66 prize pool
24. (1) Subject to subrule (2) and rule 25, the Commission shall distribute the total prize pool for each super 66 draw as follows —
(a) division 1 —
(i)
the balance of the total prize pool after payment of prizes referred to in paragraphs (b), (c), (d) and (e); or
(ii) if a minimum first division amount is nominated prior to the draw by the
Commission, that minimum amount,
whichever is the higher amount;
(b) division 2 — $6 666.00 per winning super 66 game in
that division;(c) division 3 — $666.00 per winning super 66 game in
that division;(d) division 4 — $66.00 per winning super 66 game in
that division; and(e) division 5 — $6.60 per winning super 66 game in that
division.
(2) Where under subrule (1) (a) a minimum amount has been nominated prior to the super 66 draw, and that minimum amount is higher than the balance of the total prize pool after the payment of division 2, 3, 4 and 5 prizes, the division 1 payout may be drawn from or supplemented by the prize reserve fund.
