BE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

Short title.

1. This Act may be cited as the "Lotto (Amendment) Act, 1982".

Amendment of Act No. 53, 1979.

1. The Lotto Act, 1979, is amended in the manner set forth in Schedule

1.

(Sec. 2.)

AMENDMENTS TO THE LOTTO ACT, 1979.

(1) Section 15A (3)—

Omit "one-half, insert instead "such proportion as the Minister may from time to time determine".

(2) Section 15A ( 3 A ) —

After section 15A (3) , insert:—

(3A) Nothing in subsection (3) prevents the Minister, in respect

of a participating area, from determining to pay the whole of the

duty referred to in subsection (3) (a) and the whole of any additional duty referred to in subsection (3) (b).
