AN ACT to amend the Lotteries (Control) Act

1954-1982.

[Assented to 1 December 1983.]

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most ExcellentMajesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Lotteries atirgAlleon.

(3) The principal Act as amended by this Act may be cited as the Lotteries (Control) Act 1954-1983.

Section 10C

inserted.

2. After section 10B of the principal Act, the

following section is inserted-

10C. A person shall not

instant

lottery

tickets.

(a)

sell a ticket in an instant lottery; or

(b)

cause or permit a ticket in an instant lottery to be sold,

to a person who has not attained the age of

16 years.

Penalty: $200. ".
