AN ACT to amend the Lotteries (Control) Act,

1932-1935.

Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :-

Short title. 1.

This Act may be cited as the Lotteries (Control) Act Amendment Act, 1936, and shall be read as one with the Lotteries (Control) Act, 1932-1935 (hereinafter called the principal Act).

Section fifteen of the principal Act is hereby

amended by adding a further proviso to paragraph

(b)

Provided further that, in the case of all lotteries conducted by the Commission, the Auditor General shall make a continuous audit and report to the Min- ister from month to month.

Every such monthly report shall be tabled within fourteen days after making thereof in each House of Parliament, or, if Parliament is not then in ses- sion, within fourteen days after commencement of the next session.

Amendment of

Section twenty-one of the principal Act is hereby amended by deleting the word "thirty-six" in the second and third lines of the section and substituting the word "thirty-seven."
