LOTTERIES AND ART UNIONS ACT 1901—ORDER

I, J. Richard Face, Minister for Gaming and Racing, in pursuance of paragraph (b) of the definition of “prescribed event” in section 4D (1) of the

Lotteries and Art Unions Act 1901, make the Order set forth hereunder.

The Lotteries and Art Unions (Sweeps and Calcuttas) Order 1994 is amended by inserting at the end of Part 8 of the Table to clause 2 the following matter:

Oaklands Camel Cup Lions Club of Oaklands District Inc.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The objects of this Order are to specify the Oaklands Camel Cup conducted by the Oaklands and District Lions Club Inc. as an event in relation to which sweeps and calcuttas may be conducted in accordance with section 4D of the Lotteries and Art Unions Act 1901.
