Lotteries Amendment Rule (No. 1) 2008 [s 1] 1 Short title This rule may be cited as the Lotteries Amendment Rule (No. 1) 2008 . 2 Rule amended This rule amends the Lotteries Rule 1998. 3 Amendment of sch 1 (Wednesday gold lotto) (1) Schedule 1, section 19(1), ‘The’— omit, insert— ‘Subject to subsection (1A), the’. (2) Schedule 1, section 19— insert— ‘(1A) A lottery operator may increase or decrease the distribution for a division mentioned in subsection (1) by up to 5% if— (a) for a decrease in a distribution—the decreased distribution for the division is not less than half of the percentage mentioned in subsection (1) for that division; and (b) the increase or decrease is approved by the chief executive; and (c) the increased or decreased distribution is available for inspection, on request, by the public at each place of operation of the lottery operator and all lottery agents.’. 4 Amendment of sch 2 (Saturday gold lotto) (1) Schedule 2, section 18(1), ‘The’— omit, insert— ‘Subject to subsection (1A), the’.
