An Ordinance to amend the Lotteries Ordinance 1964

Short title

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Lotteries (Amendment) Ordi­

nance 1981. 1

C ommencement

2. This Ordinance shall come into operation on such date as is fixed by

the Minister of State for the Capital Territory by notice in the Gazette.

Principal Ordinance

3.   In this Ordinance, "Principal Ordinance" means the Lotteries Ordi­

nance	1964. 2

4. After section 4 of the Principal Ordinance the following section is

inserted:

"4A . This Ordinance does not apply in relation to a pool betting scheme or a pool betting competition within the meaning of the Pool Betting Ordi­ nance 1964.".
