LONGFIELD SERVICES ENTERPRISE AGREEMENT 2011

Application for variation of the Longfield Services Enterprise Agreement 2011.

[1] An application has been made by Longfield Services Pty Ltd for variation of the Longfield Services Enterprise Agreement 2011 (the Agreement) as follows:

[2] By deleting sub-clause 1.2 in its entirety and replacing with the following:

“1.2 Scope and Coverage

This Agreement applies to Longfield Services Pty Ltd and Longfield MIE Pty Ltd and the employees of the Companies employed in the positions and classifications as listed within Appendices A and B.”

[3] By inserting Appendix B which reads as follows:

“Appendix B: Employee Classification Longfield MIE

Classification Level	Indicative Job Titles	Duties
1	Trades Assistant General Labourer Truck Driver	An employee at this level performs manual functional support duties under routine supervision. The employee may work in one of a range of duties including labouring, basic stores, cleaning and/or assisting trades persons or plant operators.
2	Trainee Rigger / Dogman Trainee Plant Operator Trades Assistant	An employee at this level is being trained to operate plant, complete non-complex work in a safe and efficient manner. They will be under regular supervision by an experienced plant operator/tradesman/rigger/dogman.
3	Rigger / Dogman Plant Operator Trades Assistant	An employee at this level shall be a trained and accredited rigger/dogman and/or plant operator. The employee shall perform routine, non-complex work under general supervision.
4	Junior Mechanical Fitter Junior Boilermaker Welder Junior Electrician Rigger / Dogman Plant Operator	An employee at this level shall be a trained and accredited tradesman with experience or demonstrated competency. The employee performs work from instructions and procedures under general supervision.
5	Leading Hand Mechanical Fitter Boilermaker Welder Coded Welder Electrician Senior Rigger / Dogman Senior Plant Operator	An employee at this level shall be skilled in a substantial range of activities. The employee will have trade qualifications or shall be multi-skilled or broadly experienced in rigging/dogging and/or plant operation. The employee will perform technical tasks such as job-site setup and leading a crew. The employee may be required to work without continuous supervision and to provide technical guidance to others in the work team.
6	Leading Hand Supervisor Senior Mechanical Fitter Senior Boilermaker Welder Coded Welder Senior Electrician	An employee at this level shall be skilled in a substantial range of activities. The employee will have trade qualifications or shall be multi-skilled and broadly experienced. An employee at this level may work as a specialist and where necessary train other employees. The employee shall possess a high level of interpersonal and/or technical skill and will be required to work without continuous supervision and to provide technical guidance to others in the work team.”

[4] The variation as approved will come into force on 27 May 2013.
