Long Service Leave (State Employees) Amendment Act 2004

An Act to amend the Long Service Leave (State Employees) Act 1994

Be it enacted by His Excellency the Governor of Tasmania, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly, in Parliament assembled, as follows:

1Short titleThis Act may be cited as the Long Service Leave (State Employees) Amendment Act 2004 . 2CommencementThis Act is taken to have commenced on 1 January 2004. 3Principal ActIn this Act, the Long Service Leave (State Employees) Act 1994 is referred to as the Principal Act. 4Section 8 amended (Granting of long service leave) Section 8 of the Principal Act is amended as follows: (a) by omitting from subsection (6) "15" and substituting "5"; (b) by omitting from subsection (9)(b) "15" and substituting "5".
