Long Service Leave (Commonwealth Employees) Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, and being satisfied that the following regulations are connected with the sale of Qantas Airways Limited, make those Regulations under the Long Service Leave (Commonwealth Employees) Act 1976.

1. Commencement

1.1 These Regulations commence on the same day as Part 4 of the Schedule to the Qantas Sale Act 1992.

    

2. Declaration for the purposes of subsection 41 (1) of the Qantas Sale Act 1992

2.1 These Regulations are connected with the sale of Qantas Airways Limited.

3. Amendment

3.1 The Long Service Leave (Commonwealth Employees) Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

4. Regulation 4a (Salary for T.A.A. pilots)

4.1 Omit the regulation.

5. Schedule 2

5.1 Item 2c:

Omit the item, substitute:

“2c Air Queensland Pty. Ltd.

Employment on or after 26 March 1986 and before the commencement of Part 4 of the Schedule to the Qantas Sale Act 1992.

5.2 After item 4aa, insert:

“4ab Australian Airlines Limited

Employment before the commencement of Part 4 of the Schedule to the Qantas Sale Act 1992”.

5.3 Items 26 and 27:

Omit the items, substitute:

“26 Qantas Airways Limited

Employment before the commencement of Part 4 of the Schedule to the Qantas Sale Act 1992.
