An Ordinance to amend the Long Service Leave (Building and Construction Industry) Ordinance 1981

Short title

1.  This Ordinance may be cited as the Long Service Leave (Building and Construction Industry) (Amendment) Ordinance  (No. 3) 1988.1

Interpretation

2.  Section 3 of the Long Service Leave (Building and Construction Industry) Ordinance 19812 is amended by inserting after subsection (2) the following subsection:

“(3)  For the purposes of the definition of ‘building and construction work’ in subsection (1), the Building Industry Labourers (On-Site) A.C.T. Award 1986 shall, in respect of the period commencing on 14 April 1986 and ending immediately before the commencement of the Long Service Leave (Building and Construction Industry) (Amendment) Ordinance (No. 3) 1988, be deemed to have been a prescribed award.”.
