An Act to amend the Long Service Leave (Building and Construction Industry) Act 1981

The Legislative Assembly for the Australian Capital Territory enacts as follows:

Short title

1.  This Act may be cited as the Long Service Leave (Building and Construction Industry)  (Amendment)  Act  (No. 2) 1993.

Commencement

2.  This Act commences on 1 January 1994.

Principal Act

3.  In this Act, “Principal Act” means the Long Service Leave (Building and Construction Industry) Act 1981.1

Periodic notices and payments by employers

4.  Section 37 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting from subsection (3) “2.5%” and substituting “1.5%”.
