Long Service Benefits Portability Amendment (Schedules) Regulations 2022

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Long Service Benefits Portability Regulations 2020 to make further changes arising from the enactment of the Industrial Relations Legislation Amendment Act 2021.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 79 of the Long Service Benefits Portability Act 2018.

3Principal Regulations

In these Regulations, the Long Service Benefits Portability Regulations 2020[1] are called the Principal Regulations.

4Who are not employees for the purposes of the contract cleaning industry?

(1)In the heading to regulation 13 of the Principal Regulations, for "not employees" substitute "excluded employees".

(2)In regulation 13(1) and (3) of the Principal Regulations, for "not to be an employee" substitute "to be an excluded employee".

5Who are not employees for the purposes of the security industry?

(1)In the heading to regulation 14 of the Principal Regulations, for "not employees" substitute "excluded employees".

(2)In regulation 14 of the Principal Regulations, for "not to be an employee" substitute "to be an excluded employee".
