s1 2 s4 Local Government Superannuation Amendment No. 236, 1994 (No. 1) ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Local Government Superannuation Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 1994 . ˙ Commencement 2. This regulation commences on 1 July 1994. ˙ Regulation amended 3. This regulation amends the Local Government Superannuation Regulation 1994 . ˙ Insertion of new s 9 4. After section 8— insert — ‘ Person prescribed as “relevant person”—Act s 33B(1)(b) ‘ 9. For the purposes of section 33B(1)(b)(ii) of the Act, a councillor of a local government, other than a councillor who is a person to whom section 33B(1)(a) of the Act applies, is a person to whom section 33B of the Act applies.’.
