1. These regulations may be cited as the Local Government (Section 34a—Prescribed Bodies)

Regulations, 1987.

2. The Local Government (Section 34a—Prescribed Bodies) Regulations, 1986 (see Gazette, 18

December, 1986, p. 1923) are revoked.

3. For the purposes of section 34a of the Local Government Act, 1934, the following bodies are

prescribed bodies:

Central Metropolitan Regional Organization

Control boards established under the Animal and Plant Control (Agricultural Protection and

Other Purposes) Act, 1986

Eastern Metropolitan Regional Organization

Eastern Metropolitan Regional Health Authority Incorporated
