1. These regulations may be cited as the
Local Government (Section 193—Prescribed
2. These regulations will come into operation on 1 January, 1989.
3. In these regulations—
"the Act" means the
Local Government Act, 1934 .
4. Section 193(3) of the Act does not apply in relation to land that is within the area of a
council referred to in the schedule.
5. The
Local Government (Prescribed Municipality) Regulations, 1984 , are revoked.
