I, the Honourable Thomas Frederick Bathurst AC, Lieutenant-Governor of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of sections 400O and 400ZC of the

Local Government Act 1993, make the following Proclamation.

Proclamation 2018

under the

Local Government Act 1993

1      Name of Proclamation

This Proclamation is the Local Government (Regional Joint Organisations)
Amendment Proclamation 2018.

2      Commencement

This Proclamation commences on the day on which it is published on the NSW legislation website.

3 Amendment of Local Government (Regional Joint Organisations) Proclamation 2018

(1) Clause 3 Constitution of joint organisations

Insert in appropriate order in the Table to clause 3:

Far North West Joint Organisation Bourke, Cobar, Walgett
Far South West Joint Organisation Broken Hill City, Central Darling,
Wentworth, Balranald
(2) Clause 3, Table
Omit “Cobar,” from Column 2 of the matter relating to Orana Joint Organisation.
Explanatory note
The objects of this Proclamation are:
(a) to constitute the Far North West Joint Organisation and Far South West Joint Organisation, and
(b) to remove the Cobar council area from the joint organisation area for the Orana Joint Organisation because of its inclusion in the joint organisation area for the Far North West Joint Organisation.
