After consultation with the Launceston City Council and being satisfied that it is appropriate to do so, I make the following order under section 140(2) of the Local Government Act 1993 .16 August 2012

1Short titleThis order may be cited as the Local Government Order (No. 3) 2012 . 2CommencementThis order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette. 3Transfer of land to Launceston City CouncilThe land situated at 205-209 Windermere Road, Windermere in Tasmania comprised in certificate of title Volume 241479, Folio 1 of the register kept under section 33 of the Land Titles Act 1980 , is transferred to the Launceston City Council.

(This note is not part of the order) This order transfers certain land situated at 205-209 Windermere Road, Windermere in Tasmania to the Launceston City Council.
