I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following order under section 4(6) of the Local Government Act 1993 .25 November 2002

1Short titleThis order may be cited as the Local Government Order (No. 2) 2002 . 2CommencementThis order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette. 3Principal ActIn this order, the Local Government Act 1993 is referred to as the Principal Act. 4Section 4 amended (Local Government Board) Section 4(2)(b) of the Principal Act is amended by omitting "Institute of Municipal Management" and substituting "Local Government Managers Australia (Tasmanian Division)".
