I make the following order under section 137(1)(b) of the Local Government Act 1993 .14 September 2008

1Short titleThis order may be cited as the Local Government Order 2008 . 2CommencementThis order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette. 3Transfer of land to Launceston City CouncilThe land situated at Powers Road, Underwood in Tasmania comprised in Volume 107338, Folio 1 of the Register kept under section 33 of the Land Titles Act 1980 is transferred to the Launceston City Council.

Displayed and numbered in accordance with the Rules Publication Act 1953.

This order is administered in the Department of Premier and Cabinet.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the order) This order transfers certain land situated at Powers Road, Underwood to the Launceston City Council.
