Local Government (Operations) Amendment Regulation (No. 8) 2011 [s 1] 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Local Government (Operations) Amendment Regulation (No. 8) 2011 . 2 Regulation amended This regulation amends the LocalGovernment(Operations)Regulation 2010. 3 Amendment of sch 1 (Prescribed information about local governments) (1) Schedule 1, entry for Cairns, column 3, ‘LGB 14 edition 1’— omit, insert— ‘LGB 14 edition 2’. (2) Schedule 1, entry for Wujal Wujal, column 3, ‘LGRB 72 edition 2’— omit, insert— ‘LGB 72 edition 1’. 4 Amendment of sch 3 (Implementing local government changes relating to changes of the boundaries of local government areas) Schedule 3, part 1— insert— ‘3 Change in external boundaries of Cairns and Wujal Wujal areas ‘(1) Lot 2 on plan SP171837 and lot 17 on plan SP224301 are excluded from the Cairns Regional Council’s local government area and included in the Wujal Wujal Aboriginal Shire Council’s local government area. ‘(2) The local government change mentioned in subsection (1) takes effect on 9 December 2011.
