Local Government (Operations) Amendment Regulation (No. 7) 2011 [s 1] 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Local Government (Operations) Amendment Regulation (No. 7) 2011 . 2 Regulation amended This regulation amends the LocalGovernment(Operations)Regulation 2010. 3 Replacement of ch 7 (Transitional provision for the LocalGovernment (Operations) Amendment Regulation (No. 6)2011) Chapter 7— omit, insert— ‘Chapter 7 Transitional provision for 2012 quadrennial elections ‘132 Local government changes affecting the 2012 quadrennial elections ‘(1) This section applies to a local government area mentioned in schedule 1A— (a) for the purposes of the 2012 quadrennial elections for the local government area; and (b) from the conclusion of the 2012 quadrennial elections for the local government area under the LocalGovernment Electoral Act 2011. ‘(2) A reference to schedule 1 in sections 5 to 8 in relation to the local government area is taken to be a reference to schedule 1A. ‘(3) To remove any doubt, it is declared that the prescribed information for the local government area is the information mentioned in schedule 1A and not the information mentioned in schedule 1. ‘(4) In this section— Page 2 2011 SL No. 251
